Instructions for Black Widow cards drinking game

Ready to use some fantasy? Alright, here we go. This game is about a queen whose husband was killed by some of the villagers.

So what do you do in that situation? Exactly, you take revenge. That’s exactly what the queen does. She puts on a black suit and turns into “the Black Widow” and kills one villager after the other.
However, there is one courageous detective who tries to stop her.

Things you need to play Black Widow

• Imagination
• Queen in spades (Black Widow)
• Jack in diamonds (Detective)
• Same number of cards in heart as player -2 (Villagers)

How Black Widow cards drinking game works

Hand out the cards. Everyone secretly takes a look.

Now the game starts. The black widow can now start to kill people by blinking at them. While doing that, she has to be careful to not be uncovered by the detective.
Once a villager is killed (s)he has to say “I’m dead” and take a drink. After every murder, the detective has to guess who the killer is. When (s)he is right, the black widow has to take a shot and a new game starts.
When the detective is wrong, (s)he has to take two sips and the game continues.

By the way and in case you are the black widow, trying to kill the detective will get you busted and you’ll have to take a shot.

Black widow is a great game to break the ice and start a party. It is fast paced, social and the more players join the better the game gets. Also, you can play in 5 or 100 times and it doesn’t matter if players leave or joining in between new rounds. Additionally, it is super easy and not a lot of explanation is needed.

It is for these reasons, that we enjoy playing this game whenever we are in bigger groups.
