CaptnCup – Kartenspiel für Beer Pong
CaptnCup ist ein deutsches Kartentrinkspiel, das das klassische Beer Pong ergänzt und noch lustiger macht.
Das Spiel funktioniert gleich wie das klassiche Beer Pong, mit dem Unterschied, dass die Spieler karten ziehen, wenn sie einen Becher treffen.
Schauen wir uns gleich die Regeln an.
Regeln von CaptnCup
Beginnen wir mit der klassischen Variante von Beer Pong. Du weißt bestimmt wie das funktioniert, oder?
Jetzt kommt CaptnCup ins Spiel. Die Karten sind in vier Kategorien eingeteilt:
Diamanten Karten
Wenn du eine dieser Karten ziehst, kannst du dich glücklich schätzen. Diamanten Karten bringen deinem Team einen sofortigen Vorteil.
Totenkopf Karten
Im Gegensatz zu den Diamant Karten bedeutet diese Kategorie nichts Gutes für dich und deine Mitspieler. Sie werden dich unverzüglich leiden lassen. Ziehe also besser nicht zu viele von diesen Karten.
Boot Karten
Die dritte Kategorie sind Boot Karten. Alle Spieler sind mit an Bord, was auch immer diese Karten dich tun lässt.
Anker Karten
Zu guter Letzt gibt es noch die Anker Karten. Sie sind etwas Besonderes, diese Karten kannst du behalten und immer dann einsetzen, wenn es am besten passt. Sie können nur einmal genutzt werden, nutze also den besten Zeitpunkt.
Zusätzliche Regeln
- Wenn zwei Spieler aus dem selben Team innerhalb einer Runde die Becher treffen, muss nur der Spieler, der zuerst geworfen hat, eine Karte nehmen.
- Wenn du einen Becher mit einem “Trickshot” triffst, der auf der Karte vermerkt ist, zählt dies offiziell nicht als Trickshot. Daher nimmt man auch nur einen einzigen Becher weg.
- Wenn der letzte Becher getroffen wird, brauchst du keine weitere Karte zu ziehen. Das Spiel ist vorbei, es sei denn, dein Team hat angefangen. In diesem Fall hat die gegnerische Mannschaft die Chance, das Spiel auszugleichen.
- Obwohl nach dem letzten Wurf keine Karten mehr gezogen werden, ist es erlaubt, seine Ankerkarten zu spielen.
Unsere Bewertung
Beer Pong ist wohl eines der besten Trinkspiele, die erfunden wurden. Seien wir ehrlich, es ist ein Evergreen, der kaum jemals langweilig wird. CaptnCup ist jedoch die perfekte Ergänzung zum klassischen Beer Pong und macht es von Anfang bis Ende zu einem spannenden Spiel. Es erhöht auch den Spaß für Zuseher. Für uns ist CaptnCup zu einem festen Bestandteil unserer Partys geworden, vor allem im Sommer.

CaptnCup is a German card game to complement the classic Beer Pong and make it even more fun.
The balls are still thrown into the cups, with the difference that when a player hits a cup, they have to draw a card.
Let’s check out the rules
Rules of CaptnCup
First of all, start with the classic setup of Beer Pong. You know how that works, don’t you?
Now, CaptnCup comes into play. The cards are grouped into four categories:
Diamond cards
If you draw one these, you can call yourself lucky. Diamond cards bring an immediate advantage to your team.
Skull cards
In contrast to the Diamond cards, this category means no good for you and your team mates. They will immediately make you suffer. You better not draw too many of these.
Boat cards
The third category are Boat cards. All players are on board with whatever this cards makes you do.
Anchor cards
Last but not least, there are the Anchor cards. They are special in the sense, that you can keep this card and use it whenever it fits best. After being used once, they have to be discarded, so you better wait for the best timing.
Special rules
- If two players hit the cups within one round, only the player who threw first has to take a card.
- If you hit a cup with a “trick shot” that was written on the card, it officially doesn’t count as a trick shot. Hence, you also take out a single cup.
- When the final cup is hit, you don’t need to draw another card. The game is over, unless your team started. In that case, the opposing team has the chance to draw the game.
- Although no cards are being draws after the final throw, it is allowed to play your anchor cards.
Our rating
Beer Pong is arguably one of the best drinking games invented. Let’s be honest, it ‘s an evergreen that hardly ever gets boring. However, CaptnCup is the perfect addition to classic Beer Pong and makes it an exciting game from the start to the end. It also increases fun for non-players. For us, playing CaptnCup has become constant at all of our parties, especially in the summer.
